I do not mind a raise at this time ....we are probably 12-24 months from a commercial agreement and revenues with Bayer and hopefully others.
As I wrote a few weeks back over the last month the trading seemed to indicate IMHO a professional and patient attempt to weaken lose hands and accumulate which I believe given how tightly BGT stock is held has been largely unsuccessful
What will be interesting will be
- how much is raised
- who is the investor / investors are
- what is the discount (if any) may even be a premium.
Yes BGT said sufficient funds for the next 12 months about 6 weeks ago, however if some institutional investors came along to the BGT board and ask to invest and purchase 10-15% of BGT at this stage then cash on hand is one less think to worry about and is a huge vote of confidence in the company. Especially if they can say that they believe this cash raise will see us through to commercialization which I believe it will
Lets see the details ...it could be the start of what I believe should be a great and well deserved rerate for BGT....Lets hope so
