It's moonshot, or even a Mars shot, but its great to see us trying and adding to the body of scientific knowledge that may help people in need. (AD - "you want me on that wall, you need me on that wall")

Another Friday arvo TH - I am loving the pressure - throw another log on the fire I hear the 400 say.
The good news is we will get some communication that may also include some statements of what to expect next - even a roadmap - ever the optimist

But let's postulate with a little range analysis for a moment ...

1) If it's very good news that is going public then the lab work and planning will be going full steam ahead regardless of the TH. But our good Dr Aston is stuck in the UK so I reckon they will need the 4 days to have the time to risk assess, check strategy, consult key stakeholders and develop a plan that will need some significant PR comms support and resources. This is all still a Mars shot, but just sayin ...

2) Or maybe it's inconclusive positive results and more work to be done with WEHI. Then a TH is appropriate, afterall they did say they would in May and if there were a leak that results are a little positive and are doing more work the media frenzy would be hard to manage and a certain orange person might start injecting it with his hydroxy-detol.

3) Or maybe there is no material benefit measured, but the jury is still out - if that is the case I don't think we needed a TH, but I don't know what else they might say in the TH, so maybe they do.

4) No perceptible benefit at all and the TH is just tells us we are back to plan A full steam ahead - again I think a TH wouldn't be needed for that and I agree with Theoc et al - communicate it late Friday and move on - nuthin to see here people.

I guess we'll see after another long weekend ... but I like this more than a silence.
