To me this says the hole was a success and they're now much closer to the source. Many pieces of the puzzle were gained, just like Hole 1 at Trundle park. This hole has hit some different mineralization and the core's aren't as shiny, but the result is actually just as good. John Holiday the bloke we have on the job and should all be listening too(Principle Discovery of Cadia and legend of the industry), would seem to argue that they're even better looking than Hole 1 at Trundle park.

How I interpret figure 2 - We're going to have similar or slightly better minerals shallow in the hole to what was previously found. I believe we will have a broad low grade intersection with some better grades mixed in deeper, possibly like the Ridgeway sequence shown below. We've hit lamprophyre which is known to be near porphyry and other types of gold/copper deposits. All the right rocks are there once again, just like hole 1 at Trundle park. We have Pottassic alteration, quartz monzonite porphyry, quartz monzonite, quartz monzodiorite, Chlorite and some good alteration overprints. We now have hype behind us for months with follow up drilling and assays for Mordialloc also have anticipation behind it.
