Spoke to someone who knows managers, both have effectively been 'fired' pending a write down of FNP assets - not as dramatic as it seems given the low returns on extensive capital outlaid and heavy investments. Perich family essentially have become impatient with management and free cash flow generation.

Most likely write down of inventory and property assets, highly unlikely it will be by the 15%+ share price fall we saw today. Time for board to appoint some truly world class leaders who know what they are doing and can transform the company and haven't just gotten the jobs through legacy promotions.

Will be interesting to see if this rumour is correct, but I'm more confident going forward that this could actually be a longer term positive step for the company. Could also be a capital raise potential, although with credit facility they have plenty of working capital.
