Typically, if the acquisition required capital injection, a CR would be including the trading halt announcement.
I'd imagine it is most likely an option or issuing scrip in return for the acquisition.
1.3m is more than enough to conduct preliminary exploration (seismic surveying, geophysical, geochemical, etc) activities at the new acquisition, in addition to an RC drilling campaign.
