Sure the products discussed in the deal are only pipeline, BUT there's a non-refundable upfront licensing payment that goes directly into ZLD's hands, and it's another avenue for production and distribution of their current products. CVSCM wouldn't have made a deal where they pay a lump sum off the bat and front all costs if they weren't absolutely sure about the product. This is a huge vote of confidence on their behalf, it's not a deal you often see when a product hasn't even been developed yet.
