To add another angle, I bought extra shares in the lead up to the record day. My acceptance form arrived without the extra shares added to my existing holding. I've just phoned the help line and asked if I could just divide my new holding by 5.58 and buy that amount. The answer is no, I'm only eligible for the number on my acceptance form.
