Hi, new to this thread and HC, but been watching it for a while with interest and particular thanks to those that post, and continue to post information, expert knowledge and opinions, much appreciated.
The announcement for DXB yesterday was very exciting IMO, and something for the Company and shareholders to be proud of. I laymans terms the results indicated that;
1) This drug has the potential to add 3 - 5 years to the life of a diseased kidney - How important would that be to any parent who has a child suffering FSGS? Something of a bigger picture that could be considered when arguing about each others posts or short term share prices on HC
2) There is now strong consistency between the previous DKD and FSGS study results, adding to the proof of the efficacy of DMX-200 for future renal treatments. The FSGS results published yesterday are Top Line results and the real value will be in the details that emerge following analysis of the complete data. IMO the complete data analysis will most likely determine how DXB management proceed to Phase III in terms of study/patient size, time frames, and of course costs. My guess is it will take 4 - 6 weeks to crunch the new data - but there is no hurry, noting that all primary end points were well and truly met (unless, of course, there is a partner already waiting in the wings).
3) There is growing evidence regarding the safety of DMX-200. The safety data from these studies will, IMO, reduce the overall number of patients required for Phase III (safety being one of the 2 primary end points of any Phase III trial), and there was a big win, reducing the dosing from 3 times to twice daily.
These are very exciting times in anticipation of the DKD results in the next 4 - 6 weeks. My guess is that a ReMax-Cap COVID announcement will only be 1 - 2 weeks away, as it would appear that an IND submission is a pretty dynamic process - for obvious reasons. Not sure what any announcement regarding ReMax- Cap may do to the share price, but at the very least it will add to the interest in the company, which can only be a good thing.
Lots of discussion about partners and Big Pharma interest longer term, IMO they are already interested, but will not show their hand until the DKD results are out and after the ReMax-Cap. IMO for potential partners or takeover it is a question of risk v value, and to most of them with large cheque books they can better sell the notion of reduced risk (increased chance of RoI) of over bargain price any day - so why strike before the next two imminent results are announced, and even possibly the size and cost of Phase III trials are known ?
My respect to management and all shareholders, past and present, as each have contributed to or supported the very important, and hopefully life altering R&D that DXB is undertaking.
