Request for Trading Halt – Lynas Corporation Limited (ASX: LYC)
Lynas Corporation Limited (ACN 009 066 648) (Lynas) requests a trading halt in respect of its
ordinary shares pursuant to Listing Rule 17.1 with immediate effect.
For the purposes of Listing Rule 17.1, Lynas provides the following information:
1. The trading halt is requested as Lynas expects to make an announcement to the ASX in connection with a proposed capital raising by way of an institutional placement (Placement) and pro-rata accelerated non-renounceable entitlement offer (Entitlement Offer)
2. Lynas requests that the trading halt continues until the earlier of Lynas releasing an announcement in relation to the completion of the Placement and institutional component of the Entitlement Offer, or the commencement of trading on 19 August 2020.
3. Lynas expects that the trading halt will be ended by Lynas making an announcement to the ASX in relation to completion of the Placement and institutional component of the Entitlement Offer.
4. Lynas is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted, or of any other information available at this stage that is relevant to the trading halt.
