Yes, John, most, but not all of these narcissists, can also be adequately described by the Dunning-Kruger effect, in that they are so full of shirt, or of themselves that they are too stupid to realise how ignorant they are.

Some go to high positions in companies or governments because of those so-called 'qualities,(anyone, in particular, comes to mind?).
They are often 'people of substance', and I mean that not from the bottom of my heart but from the heart of my bottom, which may give you an indication of what substance I am referring to.
