There is not that much dribble in this thread. And the few, that is understandable, me thinks. The holders are usually more rosy, and the non-holders phrase their views just that much harder
You have - I think - plausibly suggested a trend in consumer behaviour re IF. Albeit anecdotally. But say it is true and so, then I reckon BUB is reactive to a trend that is establishing. Perhaps earlier than others, except for the ones already being taking over.
For your last question, for me, I would not want to fund an equity stake with an "autocratic regime that China is" as you say. I suggest that is something every investor should be aware of and evaluate for themselves. No guidance given.
