This is the way that it tends to work, there has to be an incentive to the investor to come on board.

As a large investor it is a risk to come in with big $ after good results. Sure there is the rare project that post results large investors want to get involved with however in most cases further confirmation around a project is needed, ie more good results. Exploration costs money so it is prudent to raise now, hopefully with a whale coming on board and then expedite exploration looking for the next wattle dam.

Its early days but if management set this play up right and make a genuine discovery then this will fly due to the low SOI.
