I'm curious also. As far as I was aware all changes in directors holdings were due to issue of various levels of performance shares. I guess you mean they now have a big interest in wheather the price booms or tanks due to these holdings?
It is always a difficult situation as it is good to see directors with a large holding in the company but then if they ever decide to cash in it almost always gets viewed as negative inside information? I'm curious how Mr Melrose can ever benefit from the giant holding he now has without selling on market and triggering negative sentiment? In these situations best outcome for directors seems to be some form of takeover?
