Nobody here on HC is truly altruistic - that including you - we are here to make a buck or two. Otherwise, one is truly on the wrong site or path.
Secondly, set back or gain is part and parcel of the game, whether you are investing in any shares or any sectors in ASX.
Third, the essence of the stock market is volatility - unpredictability. No one could really predict with 100% certainty some ambiguous actions on ASX would lead to certain outcomes. So your "radar and experience" really means very little here, especially it seems this is your first posting on DXB board.
