@jamesworrell has responded very succinctly, i can't add much, but i would say i do agree that disruption is one of the main risks, you are correct.

I won't go into a big for/against, i have made my peace with this risk, but no denying it is there. However, one point to join jamesworrells is that Nearmap are building up a consistent historical database of images that is potentially a valuable asset for verticals requiring historical comparison.

Others are better placed for opinions on how valuable this database will prove to be in the scheme of things, but it is one thing among many that "guy-with-a-drone" can't offer.
