I had to chip in here with this talk of Lasseter’s Reef. It was always thought to be much further south...

CXO has had many false starts over the past few years that I’ve owned the stock. Perhaps this time it will be different and we can crack that 6 cent barrier and sustain the gains. Gold as a commodity is hot at the moment and wouldn’t it be ironic that gold and not lithium news did that. Look at LTR and their tear away share price, partly due to the promise of their gold etc prospects. Note that a gold announcement on 8th July 2020 sent CXO to an intraday high of 5.8 cents.

The longer we wait the better the substance of the announcement IMO. Lacklustre news wouldn’t need so much time and it would be a bit embarrassing considering the wait. The company doesn’t have a history of using Trading Halts for exploration results unless it’s material as @wenty has pointed out.

GLAH. An excellent announcement would be quite material for me, being the owner of a few million CXO shares. I strongly believe that many of the patient shareholders on here are due news that re-rates us and moves the share price north once and for all.
