The company kicked off the $6 million placement on Thursday morning with help from lead manager Foster Stockbroking.The offer was priced at 45¢ a share, which represented an 11.8 per cent discount to AML3D's last close and an 18.1 per cent discount to the 10-day VWAP, according to terms sent to funds.Potential investors were told the money raised would go towards the purchase and commission of more Arcemy units, which is the name of AML3D's 3D printing product.The fresh funds would also go towards hiring more staff in the company's engineering, design and manufacturing teams and for working capital.Bids into the placement were due by 3pm on Thursday. However, a book message sent to funds on Thursday morning said books would close early at midday.
