How are they going to do the raising without telling those they are trying to raise money from the price and amount they wish to offer shares. Now how hard do you think it would be for this information to make it to HC, This is why the shares are put into a trading halt before the capital raising begins, no one can trade on the information before the process is complete, unless of course they were part of the initial discussions with the company regarding the raising (I have no idea when the brokers doing the raising would have been aware, before or after the halt).
