When looking at Wine Depot’s road map, it is clear that the motive behind this acquisition is to gain an already established distribution business on home soil. Whilst the warehouses are chugging along nicely, the major goal is the b2b. I would imagine Wine Depot through the acquisition will gain a distribution company that already has 100+ wineries that are selling thousands of cases. This will enable the b2b to be thriving on launch day.
Talks of the acquisition being a company on foreign soil is illogical and definitely does not align with the carefully planned road map that Dean has planned out. It will be an already established company with 100+ wineries, mark my words.
