Both CE and MB hold significant amount of shares. You have to trust that they are acting in the best interest of shareholders (and hence their own pocket too).
They did what they did because it is in the best interest of shareholders.
I wouldn't be surprised if we have couple of unexpected announcements being thrown in once we commence trading again.
