It's ultimately up to your accountant and what they're willing to certify but yes, your SMSF can be. I have a blanket cover all clause on mine that covers me as an individual and all related entities. Brokers just want to see you have one and take the accountants word for it. If your SMSF is for multiple people though they may split the asset value across all of them, so that could affect your 2.5mil asset qualification.
