Nobody likes a CR but:
Raise when you can, not when you want!
The last 2 surprising, out of the blue placements, done by the group at CHK and TNR were at no or less than 5% discount and had real investors as participants with no sell-off followed. Could be for fast tracking Alaska, or Snowlake or, unlikely at this stage, for TNR fundings.
Of course if they would inject cash into CHK - but wouldn't make sense at this stage.
Soon we will know more.
