I personally think Canaccord will pay a premium, it's not like Weebit approach them, I would say a client or CEO of Canaccord felt it was an opportunity they couldn't let slip, I think Coby and co seen funding to really start things moving for the R&D & integration "being time consuming".
More people working on the integration sooner it comes to market. They can start exploring AI as a focus.
