Could they do a placement of options only? I've never seen one before and I'm not sure if there's any rules against it, but that could be an interesting possibility. Could raise at current option (or FPO) price and then have a $2 strike price with 24 months to exercise, would still be good long-term value to Canaccord's clients, and would provide a cash injection now to assist with commercialisation and improvements as well as some further funds in future for further R & D.
