@dbd25 different mechanics. The one you refer to allocates shares to be raised by the number of shares already held, while this one allocates the same amount to each holder (and scaled back proportionally if oversubscribed).

    If it's a 1/9 pro-rata entitlement (as you said):
    - Each holder is guaranteed at least their pro-rata entitlement of 1 share per 9 held, as long as they apply for it.
    - By design the raise will yield in an initial shortfall unless every single holder takes up their entitlements in full (which is unlikely to happen), so in turn each holder is allowed to oversubscribe for more than their entitlement to share whatever is left.

Bearing in mind we don't have official info on TMT's raise, in this case:
    - each shareholder is able to apply for up to $15k worth regardless of their current holding size, no more (usually you can apply for a tranche equal to either of $1k, $2k, $5k, $10k or $15k).
    - You are not guaranteed any minimum allocation, which is instead determined by the total level of funds received.

Because of the relatively small amount raised and high interest in the company, it's likely this will be oversubscribed and scaled-back even if holders apply within the limits of what they are permitted, i.e. $15k.

Hope it's clear but you can read the prospectus once available
