John Durie in 'The Australian' online has a longer article than this brief extract, but says at some stage shareholders will ask Chairman Barry Irvin when earnings per share will increase.
Here's one small part:There will be clearly some synergy benefits but the reality is with a market capitalisation of $1.1 billion and debt to equity of around 1.8 times there will need to be an equity raising.
Bega is looking at raising $180 million by way of a placement and $220 million through a non-renounceable issue at around $4.50 a share.
