There will be clearly some synergy benefits but the reality is with a market capitalisation of $1.1 billion and debt to equity of around 1.8 times there will need to be an equity raising.

Bega is looking at raising $180 million by way of a placement and $220 million through a non-renounceable issue at around $4.50 a share.
