On the Soar Financial interview yesterday Mike backed away from the idea they had enough cash to do a follow on drilling program before the start of the wet season. So I'm surprised but not stunned.
Yes, it would be great to see some major gold funds come on board. A premium would also be nice, but I'm not holding my breathe.
I agree, disappointing timing sentiment wise. But go back earlier in the year and they didn't raise cash when they could have at 10c only to have to do it much lower, so I suspect do it while they can is pretty beaten into the Board now.
I prefer the idea of exploration being unconstrained by treasury in this case though. I'm encouraged that the Board have decided the same, despite the obvious costs.
