It is standard practice to seek a TH of 2 days duration. If an announcement is made earlier they will seek to lift the TH.
In any case, assuming it is execution of a share sales agreement (which is almost 5 weeks to the day) then it would be necessary to halt trading until all parties have signed and approved execution of the agreement by way of their respective delegations. It's not simply a case of telling the market it's signed. There is a thing called due process.
