    Hi sewell,

    I totally agree.

    FYI:

"UK set to ban sale of new petrol and diesel cars from 2030" - NOVEMBER 15, 2020:

I do hope that EDE can take advantage of this huge once in a century chance. Having said this, up until now, GS has shown very little talent in being able to progress things further. The reason for this is very simple, i.e. he has little or no entrepreneurial or creative talent, and to make matters worse, he has been spoon-fed with cash up until now by TAS and EDE shareholders, as well as other supporters (including me). This is a fatal combination, which I call the the "fat-cat" syndrome.

The fat-cat syndrome stifles the need for innovation. It is the state of mind that a person enters when they have already become successful at something, or they have more than enough money, or they are simply too old. Which means that the person simply disregards inefficiencies and lost opportunities. A fat-cat is also someone who is very egotistical and completely self-absorbed (to be egotistical is to have an inflated view of your own self-importance). GS may be a good lawyer in a successful family law firm, but he sure as hell can't run a start-up, or a mining company. This he has clearly demonstrated at both EDE and TAS for well over 10 years.

For example, GS's latest effort to raise capital for EDE was totally unimaginative and has (once again!) only diluted loyal shareholders holdings. This has now placed a huge weight on the EDE SP, which is why I have very recently significantly reduced my EDE shareholding (there are simply a lot of far better investments around at the moment).

GS needs to get out of his comfort zone and take far more initiative. As a leader, he needs to think outside of the box. However, given his terrible track record, I doubt that this will happen in the very near future, if at all. Therefore, IMVHO, it is high time that GS stepped down and let a real businessman or businesswoman take over the reins, who can quickly lead EDE and TAS,onto far greater things, which I am sure both companies are easily capable of.

In today’s innovation-driven world, understanding how to create new marketing ideas has become an urgent managerial priority, i.e. it is simply not enough to invent a great product in a huge market (which EdenCrete no doubt is).

Creativity is the heart of every business. Creativity is what gets new businesses started, sustains them and allows them to achieve success on a local or global scale. It is this creativity that is totallly lacking in GS. I believe that this is the main reason why EdenCrete has so far failed to gain significant traction.

Whilst it is easy for GS to now blame COVID-19, if GS had done a far better job of marketing, commercialising and thus establishing EdenCrete in 2016/17, as he should have, COVID-19 would now be having far less of an impact on EdenCrete sales.

Creativity is an intangible thing and thus very hard to quantify i.e. it often doesn't produce an immediate payoff, which is why it is often not the focus of management's attention.

IMVHO, you either possess creativity, or you don't. GS clearly doesn't.

    Cheers.
