JOGO, I share many of your sentiments .... and Gazzajohns. The Woodlark project now looks very secure and bankable but with a much more modest upside, with a need for patience and nerve .... 2021 will probably see no big SP movements unless they pull a rabbit out of the hat, like some spectacular exploration results .... some think this is a potential 3-5m oz deposit. This rosy picture assumes the POG doesn't head south and stay there.
As for RED, my main holding, there are so many near term SP catalysts which should impact the SP its amusing to see this (typical) end of year selloff. But then again its across the board in quality goldies .... Ramelius stunning 14% drop yesterday shows even the most highly rated stocks are not immune. If these devaluations continue, then surely M&A will take off .... RED Ramelius has a nice ring to it, and it would go a long way to creating a tier 1 gold miner company. Great for shareholders, not so great for some BOD and senior management .... but no tears necessary, they'll all get golden handshakes, golden parachutes ... all reward for no risk.
GPR has a lot of long term large shareholders, who are weary and likely to rip the arms off a would be acquirer. Woodlark would sit nicely in SBM's portfolio, alongside its Simbari mine ?
