Simberi open pit is running down and sulphide processing of underground ore is now underway while SBM are exploring tenements on two other nearby islands and so they are very familiar with that region of PNG. Whether ore can be shifted by barge from one island to another for processing and hence avoid plant on Woodlark, I cannot say.
