On reflection I don't think it is a takeover attempt as all the pharmaceutical companies would probably have signed ndas . Unless Novartis asks the board to consider something . I think the most likely scenario is negotiations with the fda regarding the ARDS trial . In my opinion .the recruitment for the 60percent was reached end October. This has given the data monitoring committee masses of time to opine on efficacy I suspect that has then led to a discussion with the fda and we are now in the hard yards as to what exactly the deal will be . The next couple of days are the details regarding emergency use , pricing , further trials etc . Just a thought . Hopefully right ! I think a sensitive part of the shorts anatomies are twitching right now !
