My speculation - Even though the CHF announcement was recent, I think this announcement is about a partnership and plans to do another trial that will further explore the (unexpected) CHF results (focus on the new results). I believe (imagine) that the trading halt is to give them time to secure the deal without risking insider trading. This will not put us (the investors) in an immediately wonderful position but it will solidify plans for the future and give us some direction and certainty after the recent setback...which will result in a gradual SP recovery, as people come to terms with the real implications of those unexpected CHF results and where that will take us.
That's my take anyway.
