Working within the tech world, Tyro saying that they rolled out software updates to terminals which have completely caused them to effectively die, is pretty bad.
Very likely they didn't do proper testing on non production terminals/environment and rolled out updates into production with inconsistent version terminals.
That is why they are needing to replace a lot of terminals probably to ensure they are all consistent.
