there is a short term TV impact for sure but these kind of issues are not unknown in banking sector...how many time we see ATM machines are not working and checkout terminals are down of big 4 banks on retail stores... ASX went down for 4 hours and still up & running, how many of us put our money on another exchange instead of ASX... how many times we see poor signals on mobile in different areas of telecom..how many times we see nbn service disruption and fixing times takes weeks depending upon the technician availability...ASX & big 4 have monopoly and in case of tyro the monopoly is “cheapest service”...this is once in a decade kind of issue for tyro which may have happened before then they could have a better disaster recovery plan but because it never happened that why recovery is stretched over two weeks...shit happens, Market will get over this...as far as class action is concerned, noise on FB today is diminishing to few posts now...difficult to quantify this class action also because payment through cash is alternative mode applied in this case!
