safe to say a key reason for consolidating is to get more efficient pricing in the market and also to facilitate CR's that don't involve decimals if a cent in pricing.
i.e. it was almost inevitable to see a raise after the consolidation. Getting it out of the way may actually help the price move on in the medium term both because it's not hanging over the price and also more cash gives in bank gives some security against risk.
