I was speaking to the manager of one of the Perth based labs this week and he stated some of the reasons for delays:
.the obvious one being significant exploration activity
.the covid factor of physical distancing necessitating less people in the labs under the 4 square metre rule
.a significant number of their techs were 457 visa FIFO and have not been able to get back into the country. Mainly from the Philippines.
