It is most likely unrelated (as this was announced in Australia, not Singapore), but a new code of conduct was released yesterday (at the same time as this TH) for BNPL companies...Making it much tougher on BNPL companies to lend money, especially larger sums. They can also now be named and shamed.
like I said, most probably unrelated. However thought I would just play devils advocate.
