It's academic now because the announcement has been released.
But once you've had four days of trading halt your only options are to resume trading or request suspension.
The differences between trading halt and suspension are not huge, but in summary:

| 1 | Stock is in "pre-open" state so orders can be placed and cancelled | New orders can't be placed but existing orders can be cancelled, although cancelling them is a waste of time (see next point). |

| 2 | When trading resumes after the halt there will be an auction using the same rules as the daily opening and closing auctions. | Orders are purged before trading resumes. |

| 3 | Trading halt is limited to two back-to-back two-day periods, for a total of four days. | Suspension can continue for as long as required by the company, subject to being granted by the ASX. |

Both trading halts and suspensions tend to cause fear and turmoil amongst holders.
