This isn't a hard rock deposit. It's a clay or sedimentary deposit and has a lithium grade an order of magnitude below hard rock. All clay deposits have this level of grade. You shouldn't be trying to compare hard rock spodumene with clay deposits.
Clay is nevertheless economic (hopefully) as it typically has no overburden, requires no blasting or drilling and minimal grinding and, if you're Hawkstone, is located right in the middle of the EV marketplace. It's not in outback Western Australia or 4,000 metres up a mountain in Argentina and has all the necessary infrastructure right at the front door.
