Mauombo, CI1 used the words "firm commitment". Firm is clearly not firm.
How much money has been lost by punters this week who took the company at their word ?
And how much has been made by shorters in Hong Kong and Singapore who knew it would fall over ?
It's a scam.
And the sad thing is that companies like this do it again and again. Forget the core business: management make bucketloads not by the fundamentals of the operation, but by deception that enables them to line their own pockets.
A hypothetical: management short 20 million shares at 5 average, buy them back at 3 average, and put $400K in the kick in a week or so.
