How much does it take to prove up reserves of over 600K/oz and also a resource of over 5 mill/oz ? (this resource could be cut off 50% with grade control). This is for production of 100 oz yr @ well below $1,500 AUD. Take in discount for concentrate and we are at maybe $1,700 AUD total cost. Then money well spent on production for 200K/oz one year after. @ $1,100 AUD. With a huge resource $255 mill. seems a reasonable figure plus the $40 mill. to come. You seem to know your figures and history. Obviously there are way cheaper mines that have spent less than this. That is now history as costs have gone up. There are some really good operators out there recently that have spent WAY more. Including acquisition costs. If you take in exploration, development and infrastructure, this price seems middle of the road to me. This a middle of the road mine with potential. Even a middle of the road mine trades at a significant premium to Wmx. Location, and a 200k oz producer @1,100 AISC. What would you pay?
