Similar ASX responses CVV & XAM - Speeding tickets Tuesday/Monday respectively.
Both Copper related companies with In ground resources that look like they will increase from current rounds of drilling.
CVV is, perhaps, a tortoise to XAM's hare in terms of grade potential but the location and near surface relative consistency at Bindi etc could be the keys to "winning the race" whatever that means. Size currently similar
I am losing track of the number of times CVV has pulled this "stunt" (+10-30% rise - and falls) with little obvious reason.
IMO the fundamentals are good with the stock probably transitioning from undervalued, unloved and generally quiet on HC. If there is some rumour of corporate or finance activity in addition to ongoing drilling then that would be one reason for a SP surge. The other obvious near term factor is the Toolbrunup AEM which should be nearly complete with some initial indication of results available.
Speculation vs rumours/leaks? The latter are tricky to stop... The former risk vs reward...
I am getting nervous about having too many Cu stocks -too little diversity in the portfolio. Great in a good Cu fundamentals market that few see ending this decade. IMO there will be corrections along the way - how severe we will find out in due course.
