Hi Phishpheet - sorry for the ignorant question; I am new to investing. What is a share consolidation? I haven't understood the meanings on google and another company I hold previously consolidated which I understand has resulted in the share price history on commsec charts not being a true reflection of what it was actually trading at. But I can't work out how the charts are off or exactly what a consolidation means, nor it's broader implications for the company.
Any insight (or links) really appreciated.
