I doubt it would be for acquiring an operation in the Philippines, though who knows - I can't see the sense in dropping $300m (assuming it's all for that purpose) on the Philippines market, when remember Quadpay cost $400m. If they want acquisitions you'd think Canada, UK or Europe would be a better option. Maybe it's to acquire the remaining stakes in their current strategic investments, although again with the focus strongly on Quadpay/US it's unclear why make this move now. Also get the f*cking US listing up not this stuff.
