Not by what he says, but by his actions. The fact that he CHOSE to go overseas before Xmas last year when the Covid situation was a complete debacle in may countries and lock downs were common place. Putting himself in harms way, when he could easily have just stayed at home in the comfort of his own environment spoke volumes of the man that leads this company.

At the end of the day it really doesn't matter how good the story might be, if you don't have someone who has the expertise, know how and passion to put the pieces together, it will always be a hard slog.

In recent times investors and shareholders have had to grapple with the decision as to whether they believe Volt will get the necessary funding for their Bunyu project, whether their recently acquired gold interests will eventually provide any meaningful gold discovery, or whether they will successfully acquire the Ukraine Graphite Mine.
I have stated many times in the past that I believe Volt will eventually achieve their goals and become a major player in the graphite space. My confidence has been nutured through my belief in Trevor Matthews. Some here have obviously not shared my enthusiasm or my thoughts.
Fair to say after reading the thoughts of some posters in recent days one might suggest that the divide between the believers and the non believers has never been greater.

So now Volt is in a Trading Halt and everyone waits for the pending news. Will it be the news that the Believers have been anxiously waiting for, or will it be the news that the Non Believers are expecting for them to justify their past comments of negativity towards Management and this company.

Whatever the news is, from my perspective one thing is for certain, and that is, whilst Trevor Matthews is at the helm, all shareholders of Volt have a reasonably good chance of achieving a successful outcome. My faith is squarely put in the hands of a man who has had more than 25 years of experience in the Resources Industry and someone who was responsible in overseeing an exploration company into production which was valued at approximately $2 Billion dollars in market capitalisation. There are not many who can lay claim to having achieved this level of success.This experience will ultimately help steer the ship when Volt moves forward into bringing it’s Bunyu project into production.

There are also plenty of Long Termers here like both of us who strongly believe in Trevor and what he will eventually achieve for VRC.

The wait has been longer than we expected and hoped for....but as I have said before, the pieces of the puzzle are now (finally) starting to come together.

The company is on the cusp of a wave of success. I believe the news this week will be ground breaking for the Company; as will be further announcements be over the next few months.

With graphite globally in short supply, global demand and pricing rising; VRC is now perfectly placed to capitalise on market demand and sentiment...and the SP will also start to reflect this.
