from experience, that presentation will hold little weight with asx, they will still interrogate the transaction
look at SHG's trading halt and suspension in March to see the latest example of asx in action on this matter, where ASX reviewed the proposed acquisition and decided that only shareholder approval and not recompliance was required
not being alarmist, just forewarning that the halt could go into a suspension to give asx time to consider (terribly worst case is recompliance but this isn't the first rodeo for Wheeler so I'm sure he's all over it)
