Companies will send in partial samples for assaying. For example, if they've completed and bagged 1,000m, they'll send it to the lab for assaying while continuing drilling.
So they COULD have partial assays. However, that would still be too quick in my opinion as labs are seriously backlogged across the country.
Its very odd indeed. Remember It's not diamond drilling, there are no cores here. It is very rare to see and report visible gold in RC chips.
