What insiders? Institutions that hold AFSLs are unlikely to do this. 1) the risk/return isn’t worth it and 2) their compliance departments won’t let them (once you are wall crossed the relevant stock goes on the black list which means no trading). I speak from experience. Even at the spivvy end of town I find this unlikely.
If you’re Farooq Khan / the issuer and your broker was backdooring clients like this you dump them the next time you raise.
